Ajax Electrical Sales Company was founded in 1931 after the original owner branched off from the Ajax Specialty Company, a manufacturer of extension cords and cord sets. Over the past 70 plus years, Ajax has had offices in St. Louis, Missouri, Little Rock, Arkansas and Memphis, Tennessee. During this time period, the company has won numerous awards; “OUTSTANDING SALES PERFORMANCE”, “REP OF THE YEAR”, “QUOTA BUSTER”, “MV PERFORMER” and many more.
Other achievements as a group include recognition for total support of the St. Louis Electrical Board, Board of Directors (S.L.E.B.), The Womens Electrical Board (W.E.B.), Presidency of the Local Electrical Reps Organization (E.R.O.), Co-Chairman St. Louis Electrical Board Veterans Organization, membership in the local chapter of N.E.C.A. and a long lasting membership since the founding of N.E.M.R.A.
The concept of “Team Selling” is put into action with an innovative program that shares financial success and encourages cooperation on distributor, contractor and specification efforts. Four full time reps work the market demonstrating a strong commitment to spec work.
